Upon arriving at Amanyara you will be transported to a world of sea breezes and reflecting pools. Nestled on the tip of a 5,000 acre nature reserve, the headland gives way to a pristine sandy beach on one side and the stunning ironshore with its natural rock bridges and craggy bays on the other. An enviormental paradise. Surrounded by the third largest coral reef system in the world, the Turks and Caiscos archipelago is a haven for marine life, birds, flora and fauna. Much of the land and water were made nature reserves long ago, leaving the islands to remain as they have always been, beautiful by nature. The buildings have low rooflines that converge with the landscape, embracing lakes, ponds and an oceanfront setting that includes low rocky headlands and sweeping white sand beaches. Entry to the resort is through a large reception pavilion that opens onto a grand formal reflecting pond that is landscaped with mature trees. All 40 timber shingled Pavilions are identical in layout and design and fall into three categoris based on their location and views. The Pavilions are of contemporary design with a dramatic overhanging roofline that creates shaded outdoor areas on the three terraces. Large glass doors can be opened on three sides to catch the cooling sea breezes. As at all Aman Resorts, around the clock concierge, maid, valet and room service provide all the gracious touches of home. Amanyara seeks to please the most discerning clients with understated service where privacy, individuality and personal attention are assured. Each trained progessional has the knowledge and resources to help you make the most of your day. Surrounded by nature, serene and utterly private. Complete restoratin and renewal of the mind, body and spirit await in one of the individual spa treatment pavilions. Aman Spa therapists are trained to help create a personal program of yoga, meditation, massage and appropriate selection of essential treatments. Delicious natural and organic foods are prepared with care and respect for a balanced nutritional regimen. Should you wish to stir from basking beachside, the staff are pleased to make charter arrangements for sailing, deep-sea and bone fishing, scuba diving or a round of golf at the nearby 18-hole championship course.

Recommended Rooms
All 40 timber shingled pavilions are identical in layout and design. Pavilions are nestled in the vegetation; Pond Pavilions are sited on the edge of tranquil ponds, with a timber sundeck extending over the edge of the water; Ocean Pavilions are located along the oceanfront, elevated approximately 15-20 feet above the waterline, with pathways leading to the rock formations above the sea.

The Swimming Pool is located within an expansive terrace that provides uninterrupted views of the ocean. Measuring 164ft by 26ft (50m by 8m), there are two lounge pavilions on either end from which shallow entries to the pool also provide for water lounging. A third lounge pavilion is located beyond the pool and closer to the oceanfront. Pairs of sun loungers are positioned along the timber deck and an outdoor shower is provided.
Spa Facility
Amanyara has a team of skilled therapists providing massages and body treatments for guests in the privacy of their pavilion. There are also beauty treatments available, including facials, manicures and pedicures.
Tennis Courts on Site
There are also two flood-lit clay tennis courts. Tennis racquets, balls and shoes are provided and lessons or hitting partners are available.
Golfing
The Providenciales Golf Club is located a 30-minute drive from Amanyara and is rated amongst the top 10 courses in the Caribbean. The 18-hole, championship course, was designed by Karl Litten and opened for play in 1992. The course is a combination of lush greens and fairways, rugged limestone outcroppings and freshwater lakes. A four-tee position system offers a formidable test for golfers of all skill levels. The Pro shop provides equipment rental and professional instruction is available.
Scuba Diving
Snorkelling can be enjoyed from the beach and around the rocks at Amanyara. The sandy bottom declines gradually until the reef wall falls away dramatically with its sheer vertical drop to 6,888ft (2,100m). Rock formations surrounding the resort are home to many small fish and good snorkelling is found in these shallow waters. Snorkelling equipment is available and a complimentary snorkel trip departs daily from the Dive Centre at Amanyara.

Directions to Hotel
The international airport is on Providenciales Island, a 25-minute drive from Amanyara. A number of airlines offer direct flights to and from Providenciales. During the high season which runs from November to April, most airlines offer additional flights to and from Providenciales. Amanyara provides complimentary roundtrip vehicle transfers between the airport and resort so be sure to contact the hotel property with your arrival details.
Child policies vary by hotel. Many hotels are able to provide a rollaway bed or
crib, though there may be an extra fee. Such fees will not be included in the quoted
rate.
