The Fairmont Mayakoba, Riviera Maya, will be part of the Mayakoba resort community development situated along the Caribbean coastline. Located approximately 40 miles south of Cancun near the town of Playa del Carmen, on the Tulum corridor in the province of Quintana Roo, this rapidly growing tourist destination is renowned for its pristine beaches, lush forest, Mayan ruins and premier diving and snorkeling. In addition to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts' 401-room resort property, the Mayakoba resort development will also house five additional hotel sites, two golf courses and residential properties. Tempt your palate at one of our dining outlets which include a Mexican and international cuisine restaurant in the main building, Brisas del Mar, an elegant Oceanside restaurant with a high palapa roof and terrace seating for 50, a casual all-day pool grill, and a sunrise-to-sunset market cafe. Recommended Rooms
Our 401 guest rooms, including 34 suites, are located in a traditional low-rise hotel building and clustered throughout the property in 90 two-story Casitas with two to four rooms each. Categories range from generous Casita rooms to signature lagoon views and our exclusive beachfront Villas. Amenities include comfortable Fairmont beds and expansive bathrooms, each with a soaker tub, a separate glass-walled shower stall and a double vanity. Large sliding doors open to furnished balconies or terraces, and all rooms offer both air conditioning and ceiling fans.
Child Programs
Professionally organized children's activities, such as nature walks, are available. There is a young-adult/children's center equipped with games and computers, as well as an outdoor play area. Babysitting can be arranged through the Kid's Camp. The resort's qualified and reliable babysitters are available to provide childcare. All sitters have been carefully screened and required to produce a current police security background certificate.

On the Pool Island, a 10,000 sq. ft. free-form pool with a swim-up bar. Children's pool with waterslide and children's wading pool adjoining main pool. Infinity edge pool - an adult-only pool overlooking the lagoon. Ocean Front: Second Infinity edge pool, overlooking the ocean. Tower Pool: Fourth pool for both adults and children.
Spa Facility
A 16,000 square foot Willow Stream spa features 20 treatment rooms including a unique couple's suite in the treetops, plus two mineral pools and steam rooms. A carefully crafted menu of services includes distinctive treatments, some of which incorporate indigenous ingredients and ancient native traditions. A full-service health club and beauty salon are also available.

Guests at The Fairmont Mayakoba have access to the Mayakoba community tennis facility with Eight tennis courts (lighted for night play); Six paddle courts (lighted for night play) and a Pro Shop.
Beach
The private beach is located just a quick ride from the resort, take your bike, ride our shuttle or take or electric boat to our magnificent sapphire blue waters and white powdered sandy beach. Colourful cabanas, reclining chaise lounges, a freshwater pool, men's and ladies change rooms, lockers, and showers, towels. An endless stretch of beautiful beach all for the enjoyment of registered guests. The Las Brisas Terrace Bar, a Beach restaurant, offers outdoor seating, as well as seaside beverage service. Great casual fare and refreshing drinks all day long. Reclining beach chairs and umbrellas dot the white sand beach.
