The Gran Hotel La Perla is an emblematic historic building: its 127 years in existence make it the second oldest hotel in Spain. The hotel is committed to honouring this, and pays special tribute to each and every one of the important persons who have stayed here. Celebrities such as Ernest Hemingway, Orson Welles, Charles Chaplin and Pablo Sarasate have stayed here, among others. Completely remodelled in 2007 and located in the centre of Pamplona, this is a hotel that has made history, has lived history, and has sometimes been the star itself. And now, with the recent and proficient remodelling, the entire historic heritage amassed over more than a century is preserved.

Location Summary
Pamplona is an old city where the influences of the peoples who have lived there are reflected in the beautiful buildings and streets. The urban layout preserves elements from the Roman camps and the French Gothic style of the cathedral, only two examples of Pamplona's rich history. Pamplona is a walled city full of bridges that cross the Arga River and connect the old towns. It's a city of pilgrims who walk towards Santiago, a city constantly celebrating the festival of San Fermín because of Hemingway's work. Pamplona is a friendly place, with a strong personality and a great wealth of culture and monuments in which a good part of Navarre's historical transformation is summed up.

The Gran Hotel La Perla has three function rooms and a library parlour. They are equipped with the latest technology: Wi-Fi, cable Internet connection, the possibility of holding video conferences, plasma screen monitors, DVD players, etc., for holding meetings or celebrating special events. Additionally, the wall hangings allow for better acoustics.
Fine Dining On Site
The Gran Hotel La Perla has restored the noted restaurant Las Pocholas. The name of the present-day establishment is Hostal del Rey Noble. It's located in the first underground level of the hotel (the level below Estafeta Street) and has a view of the running of the bulls, the encierro, during the festival of San Fermin. The most demanding of palates will find an answer to their culinary concerns thanks to the restaurant's cuisine: the classic, traditional flavours of Navarre.
