Excellent hotel. Fantastic service. Great location.

Built in 1842 for one of Bridgehampton’s most prominent citizens, Topping Rose House stands at a crossroads that has been integral to the community it calls home since the earliest days of American history. Ever since the Town gave the go-ahead in 2010, owners Bill Campbell and Simon Critchell have been working to restore Topping Rose House to its former glory, while transforming the property into a modern luxury refuge right in the heart of The Hamptons. Acclaimed chef Tom Colicchio of Top Chef fame, not only operates the restaurant but the hotel as well, a first for him.

Enjoy carefully restored details and the comfort of contemporary accommodation in our charming and historic House. Newly renovated, the House has two One-Bedroom Suites, three King Rooms, and two Twin Rooms which are convertible to Kings. Modern and airy, the three stylishly furnished Studio King Rooms are located on the second floor with stunning views of the property. Just two floors above the Spa, the Studio guestrooms are perfect for bridal parties or a relaxing weekend getaway. Located between the Orchard and Tom Colicchio's Topping Rose Farm, the four Cottages offer serene respite from the stresses of everyday life and easy access to the fitness center on the lower level. All Cottage accommodations feature private outdoor space, either a patio or roof deck. Each Cottage can be booked as a single unit or two individual guestrooms on the ground floor and a King Suite on the first floor.While varied in location and aesthetic, accommodations at the Hampton's luxury hotel Topping Rose House are equally elegant. All accommodations feature plush bedding with linen by Frette, bathtowels by Matouk, bathrobes by Chadsworth & Haig, and bath amenities by Naturopathica. Each room is anchored by Madeline Weinrib's uniquely designed rugs. Customizable minibars give guests the luxury of their own private pantry, while flat-screen televisions and iPod docks ensure access to the latest movies and music.

At Topping Rose House, chef Tom Colicchio follows the traditions of his New York restaurants by honoring the best possible ingredients. The menu, under the guidance of Executive Chef, Ty Kotz, showcases produce from Topping Rose Farm as well as other local farms, ranches and day boat fishermen who share our commitment to great food. Operated by local Hamptons spa and healing center, Naturopathica, the Spa at Topping Rose House offers treatment rooms exclusively for hotel guests in addition to in-room treatments.

Directions to Hotel
FROM NYC AND SOUTHERN POINTS LIE/495 East to Exit 70 - Eastport, Manorville (about 65 miles from New York City). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right on to Route 111 South until the end (4.5 mi). Turn left on to Route 27 East. Topping Rose House will be on the left, just after passing through the downtown area in the village of Bridgehampton.

FROM ALBANY, NY Take 87 South to Tappanzee Bridge. Stay on 87 until you reach 95 East. Stay on 95 East until you reach 295 south. Cross Throgs Neck Bridge and take exit for 495 East. Follow 495 East to Exit 70 - Eastport, Manorville (about 65 miles from New York City). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right on to Route 111 South until the end (4.5 miles). FROM BOSTON, MA Take 95 South to Exit 84S towards downtown New London, Connecticut. At second light turn left onto Governor Winthrop Blvd. Cross railroad tracks and turn right to the Cross Sound Ferry. Reservations are required and can be made at (860) 443-5281. Disembark at Orient Point and take 25A West (8 mi). Turn left onto Main Road (1 mi), then right to stay on Main Road/Front Street (.2 mi). Turn left onto 114 South and continue 1 block to the North Ferry. You will disembark the ferry on Shelter Island. Continue on 114 South/Ferry Road (4.5 mi) to South Ferry to Sag Harbor. Disembark and remain on 114 South/Ferry Road (3 mi). Turn right on Washington Street and continue onto Main Street (1 mi). Continue on to Country Road 79/Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Topping Rose House is on the left (3.5 mi).

Meeting Space
The Studio can accommodate up to 85 for a seated meal. Overlooking the pool and Topping Rose Orchard, the Studio uniquely combines idyllic scenery with a state of the art facility. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, it is also a perfect venue for meetings and corporate events. Floor to ceiling windows allow for ample natural light to warm a round-table discussion while black-out shades can be drawn to darken the room for a projected presentation at any time of day.
Fine Dining On Site
The restaurant at Topping Rose House brings acclaimed chef Tom Colicchio’s seasonal American cooking to the East End. Open year-round, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily, with brunch served on the weekend. A wrap-around porch, open seasonally, leads to the 25-seat Bar Room, a welcoming place for a drink and a bite.
Spa Facility
Operated by local Hamptons spa and healing center, Naturopathica, the Spa at Topping Rose House offers treatment rooms exclusively for hotel guests in addition to in-room treatments. Naturopathica has pioneered holistic skin care and natural therapies since 1995. Their healing arts center emphasizes how diet, massage therapy, herbal remedies and other wellness rituals enhance balance and beauty from the inside out. Known for progressive skincare featuring performance-based natural ingredients, advanced green technologies and sensorial ambiance, Naturopathica has been featured extensively in the media and their signature blue bottles are featured at premier spas throughout North America. Naturopathica emphasizes that the most important time for health comes in between visits to a doctor or a spa. Their massage therapists specialize in a variety of modalities to address everything from relaxation to pain relief.
