Deep in the American South lies one of the world's finest hotels. The Windsor Court Hotel is located in the heart of New Orleans, on the edge of the historic French Quarter, near the banks of the Mississippi and just a few minutes walk from the Convention center and warehouse district. As soon as you enter its elegant paved courtyard, you will see why the Windsor Court Hotel is different. It is known throughout the world as a haven of peerless luxury, as the hotel with the best cuisine and the finest collection of European art in the South. Guests at The Windsor Court Hotel expect the very best.

In its 20 year history, the hotel has been the recipient of numerous awards including: Top 100 Best Hotels in the U.S. in Conde Nast Traveler (top 25 for the past 20 years), Travel & Leisure Magazines Top 100 U.S. Hotels (the top 30 for 20 years), Andrew Harper's Hideaway "World's Best Hotels," Departures Magazine's Top 25 Business Hotels List, Mobil 4-star, and 4 Diamond AAA.

The accommodations successfully combine traditional English decor with modern amenities, luxuriant accouterments and superb service. They are soothingly appointed with soft, subtle colors and comfortable upholstered furnishings. The Windsor Court Hotel is one of the only hotels in the city to provide so many luxury suites: of 324 deluxe rooms, 266 are suites. All accommodations are unusually spacious with either a private balcony or bay window overlooking the Mississippi River or the city skyline. Some of the suites have two bedrooms, and there are two spectacular penthouses on the 22nd floor with their own landscaped terraces.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - Windsor Court Hotel
Anthony, New Orleans, LA. March, 2006
"Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was one of the absolute nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. When needed, this will be the only hotel I stay with ever again! Room was over sized, the room had a full size fridge and fully stocked mini bar. The view was exceptional especially when standing on the rooms private balcony. The location was only steps from all the attractions like Harrahs Casino, River Walk, Saks Fifth Ave. Room Service was delicious, very knowledgeable, and quick."
Irene C., Dallas, TX. February, 2006
"Visiting New Orleans for the first time since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, I must say that the hotel was as gracious and grand as ever! The staff were as always caring, competent and courteous. While there was no room service before eleven in the morning, and no more afternoon tea service due to lack of staff...what can one say? These seem so trivial now! The real charm of Windsor Court has always been the joie de vie of N'awlins ... and the staff that was present exemplified this! The people who work there ... from Robert at the front desk to the valets parking the cars! The entire staff embodies the charm of the old south!"

Fine Dining on Site
In a city known for spectacular food, The New Orleans Grill, formerly named the Grill Room, has long been recognized as one of the Nation's top restaurants. Executive Chef Jonathan Wright's contemporary European cuisine draws on his French training and the bounty of Louisiana products. Quickly named "New Orleans' Best New Chef" by New Orleans Magazine (October 2003), Wright was named "one of three Chefs to keep an eye on" in the U.S. by Esquire magazine (November 2003). The restaurant's elegant setting features fine furnishings and a warm palette of gold, coral and cinnamon accentuated with polished marble and custom floor coverings. Three new museum quality murals by renowned local artist Auseklis Ozals are focal points of the room and complement the Windsor Court Hotel's magnificent collection of European masterpieces. Measuring approximately 17 x 7 feet, each mural captures a different New Orleans scene: tranquil plantation countryside, Jackson Square and the bustling French Market. Complementing the food, The Windsor Court's sommelier maintains a unique, world-class wine cellar built on springs to protect the 10,000 bottles of exceptional vintages in case of hurricanes or earthquakes. A significant collection of Bordeaux Grand Crus crowns an award-winning list of some of the world's finest wines. In addition, Polo Club Lounge, the classy cigar-friendly lounge adjacent to the Grill Room, resembles a private English club. Piano music adds to the convivial atmosphere, along with appetizers, a light menu and the finest of spirits. Le Salon: Over the years afternoon tea with classical music in the plush comfort of Le Salon has become a time-honored ritual for both locals and hotel guests. By night Le Salon converts to a chic smoke-free lounge for cocktails and jazz.
