"Our experience was wonderful. We stayed in a luxury suite and the service was impeccable and the room appointments were luxurious and yet comfortable. We had room service three times during our stay, and it was always on time and the food was well-prepared and served hot. But, most importantly, the hotel was dog-friendly. And, boy did they mean it. Our dogs were greeted with doggie bowls and feeding pads and lots of patience and understanding from the staff. We have never felt more comfortable with our dogs in any other hotel. One small complaint is that while the food in the restaurant was excellent, the staff was slow and obviously new. Post Katrina, a whole lot of service people left New Orleans and the restaurants and scrambling to train new servers. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially to dog owners who travel with their beloved pets. And say hello on floor 13, the doggy floor!"

Cafe Adelaide was inspired by the home and life of the owner's beloved Aunt Adelaide. This dynamic bistro captures the vivacious, local avant garde cocktail culture of the late 1950s and 1960s. The menu, the decor, even the friendly staff reflect Aunt Adelaide's warm charm and humble pursuit of the finer things in life, with a little added Creole flavor.

The Swizzle Stick Bar: Light touches of Key West and the West Indies abound in the atmosphere and the menu, but the bar never strays too far from the Old World charm New Orleans has made famous. The 285 luxurious, oversized guestrooms and suites, including a Presidential suite, all have magnificent views of the Mississippi River or the city and all suites attach to a double queen room, for more space. Directions to Hotel
Take I-10 East towards New Orleans. Take Exit 234B, on the left towards Poydras Street/Superdome. Head straight on Poydras Street. The Hotel is located on the right at 300 Poydras.
