"The room was unexceptional, even with upgrade to deluxe, but did have great sea view, same room with city view would be awful! Location was fantastic, Mumbai so big that you can only really cover a part of it, great for restaurants/bars etc. Hotel restaurants offer a wide choice, but the (very expensive) Chinese restaurant which is apparently best in Mumbai was nothing special. The Aquarius area by the pool is a much better, more atmospheric spot. The beauty salon, and shopping gallery were great. We would recommend , if you can afford it, pay the extra money and stay in the Palace old section, as the rooms are better, and the service too. Oh and try to avoid Christmas/Wedding season!"
