The interiors of Hotel Gault have been designed by Atelier YH2 (architects Loukas Yiacouvakis and Marie-Claude Hamelin) with architect Paul Bernier. The facade was restored by Fournier, Gersovitz, Moss and Associates. Beyond the light-filled lobby, 30 modern rooms meld the clean lines of polished concrete and steel with the warmth of wood and the highest quality fittings and finishings. "My wife and I opted for one of the top five rooms and if you do the same, you'll find yourself in a room that lives up to its top-of-the-chart billing: spacious, airy, warm, chic and most importantly, silent. If so inclined, you could hear a pin drop. Our room was, in short, very romantic for a couple (but would also be very practical for a professional). Hotel Gault is close to excellent Old Montreal restaurants (a few were recommendations of the well-informed staff - don't hesitate to ask!), and neither the hotel's breakfast nor its restaurant should be missed! Definitely book your room with breakfast included - it's a great, tasty way to start your day."
