Hotel Gault, a boutique hotel which opened in 2002, is an island of bold architectural innovation and modern style in Montreal's most intriguing historic neighborhood. Each of the 30 rooms is designed to offer the utmost in comfort and convenience, a perfect home base whether you travel for business, tourism, festivals, cultural events, or sheer pleasure. Hotel Gault is listed on the Conde Nast Traveler Hot List for best hotels in the world. Behind the historic stone facade you will find an hotel in Montreal that offers the attentive service you'd expect in a small private inn along with all the comforts of a major international hotel. The interiors of Hotel Gault have been designed by Atelier YH2 (architects Loukas Yiacouvakis and Marie-Claude Hamelin) with architect Paul Bernier. The facade was restored by Fournier, Gersovitz, Moss and Associates. Beyond the light-filled lobby, 30 modern rooms meld the clean lines of polished concrete and steel with the warmth of wood and the highest quality fittings and finishings. Some are exceptionally spacious with a separate living area; others have a private terrace. All are tastefully furnished with classics of modern design. Thirty different living spaces, each one offering a unique experience of this unique city, whether you are here for a brief visit or an extended stay.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - Hotel Gault
Erik Z., Somerville, MA. June, 2007
"My wife and I opted for one of the top five rooms and if you do the same, you'll find yourself in a room that lives up to its top-of-the-chart billing: spacious, airy, warm, chic and most importantly, silent. If so inclined, you could hear a pin drop. Our room was, in short, very romantic for a couple (but would also be very practical for a professional). Hotel Gault is close to excellent Old Montreal restaurants (a few were recommendations of the well-informed staff - don't hesitate to ask!), and neither the hotel's breakfast nor its restaurant should be missed! Definitely book your room with breakfast included - it's a great, tasty way to start your day."
