"Because it was my husbands 70th Birthday they upgraded me from a junior Suite which was lovely and overlooked the Marina and casino. A bottle of wine awaited us from the management and on the Saturday they lefft a 'Birthday Cake' on a beautifully set up table in our suite. We went with 6 friends and they a double room each which was also beautiful. The hotel location is central, just perfect. The service is second to none. Reception Staff was most courteous and very helpful. I booked this hotel because of Alain Ducasse as my husband is also a trained chef and it was imperative that the experience of the meal and service would be fantastic. It was. We had a most wonderful 'Birthday meal' on the Saturday. All staff most ettentive. The waiting on staff listened to the conversation at the table and if anyone needed something, it arrived. The food was exceptional from start to finish. This is a 'must' experience when staying in Monte Carlo."
