Dating back to 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is owned by and named after the family of the Duke of Westminster. Located in the heart of the historic city of Chester, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is one of the finest hotels in the north-west of England and one of a handful of hotels to be awarded five AA Red Stars. It was honoured with a Gold Ribbon from the RAC in 2005, making The Chester Grosvenor and Spa one of the four five-star hotels outside London to achieve this award. Celebrating its 140th birthday, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is situated in the centre of historic Chester, close to the Roman walls, Chester Cathedral and the famous Victoria Clock. There are two award-winning restaurants at the hotel, most notably The Arkle, which has retained its Michelin star for the 17th consecutive year. The Library is a comfortable lounge area of understated elegance that serves morning coffee, light lunches and features a traditional afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks and cocktails in the evening.
The Grosvenor gym is bijou in size but equipped with everything you need for a full body workout including rowing machine, exercise bikes, treadmills, free weights and work bench.

Windsurfing and waterskiing are available on the River Dee and on other nearby waterways.
