Historic hotel with a spa, Michelin star restaurant, and Parisian brasserie. Close to the Chester Cathedral and Roman Amphitheater, the property is ideal for exploring the ancient city walls, two-tier shopping galleries, and mountains of North Wales.
The Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa
Since opening in 1866, The Chester Grosvenor is an icon of understated style, glamour, and elegance. Overlooking the famous Eastgate Clock, the hotel is located in the heart of Chester, which traces its origins back to Roman times. The historic city is known for two-tier shopping galleries know as the "Rows," Victorian half timbered buildings, and a racecourse which is considered to be the oldest in the country, dating back to the 16th century.

Guest rooms and suites feature elegant decor with fine fabrics, upholstered headboards, and comfortable sitting areas. There are flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes, and trouser presses, while bathrooms have luxurious toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers.

The county's only Michelin starred restaurant, Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor is one of a handful of restaurants in the UK to have retained a Michelin star for more than 25 consecutive years. For a more relaxed setting, the Rosette La Brasserie is a classic Parisian brasserie with a hand-painted glass skylight, and a sophisticated French atmosphere.

For relaxation and rejuvenation, The Spa at The Chester Grosvenor has ELEMIS trained therapists, and there is a Thermal Suite with a series of heat-related experiences.
