The Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas is a private, sprawling Mediterranean-style all-suite hotel that has undergone a $25 million dollar expansion and is the ultimate get-away-from it all. Accommodations range from 100 spacious junior and one-bedroom suites in the main building and 52 detached, multi-room villas with private patios that evoke the architectural style of the south of France. Located a short walk from the Sunset Strip, but it feels a world away, with its five acres of lush gardens, koi ponds, waterfalls, brick paths and tropical foliage. In addition, there is the dark and sexy Bar 1200, SPA, and RESTAURANT, 2 pool areas, private cabanas, 24-hour full menu room service, weight room with cardiovascular equipment, 24-hour valet parking, and Nightbird, a state-of-the art recording studio and screening facility. The villas surround guests with indulgent colors and materials such as ebony, marble cashmere granite, slate, mohair and mosaic glass tile in a modern comfortable setting with spa-like bathrooms. The crown jewel of the property, the 2 story Presidential Villa, features 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, screening room, dining for 10, executive office, 2 huge walk-in closets and comes standard with choice of Bentley, SUV or limo. This villa is attended to by the 24-hour butler and accessed by a private elevator.

Recommended Rooms
The two-bedroom villas are the hotel's premiere accommodations and range in size from 1400 to 1600 square feet. Certain villas can be combined to make a 4-bedroom/4 bathroom private residence. Each one has a large dining area that can accommodate up to 6 people and most have nearly full size kitchens. The bathrooms are oversized and finished in marble and granite. Some villas have balconies or private landscaped terraces. At this time, exciting construction is underway for the two-story Presidential Villa, which will be the star of the property, offering guests a private retreat filled with sumptuous designs, amenities and seclusion.

From city of Santa Monica via FREEWAY: Take the 10 freeway EAST. Exit La Cienega. Take La Cienega NORTH to Holloway. Turn left onto Holloway. Turn right onto Alta Loma road.
