The hotel is part of a new development known as Canary riverside which includes a 44,000-sqft spa and fitness facility. The hotel is small intimate and contemporary in design with 142 rooms including 14 suites over 8 levels with a three story lobby, northern Italian restaurant, lobby bar and conference facilities. The Canary Wharf area, also known as the Docklands, is built on the site of the old spice and tea wharves and docks, which were at the center of London's trade and maritime history.
