Claridge's, the epitome of grand English style, is situated on the corner of Brook Street and Davies Street and is within easy reach of Hyde Park, Park Lane, Bond Street and Oxford Street. For over a century the hotel has enjoyed the patronage of the most illustrious families, leaders and dignitaries from around the world. Showcasing the highest standards for hospitality and service, this society venue has received numerous prestigious awards in its distinguished history.

In 1999 Claridge's embarked on the first major designer restoration since the 1930s, when David Collins was invited to create a new cocktail bar. New York-based designer Thierry Despont was brought in to revitalize the Foyer area. Using archive photographs of the Ballroom Extension that dated from the early 1930s as inspiration, the space was completely made over in a modern art deco style, with a stunning, and completely up-to-the minute Dale Chihuly chandelier as its centerpiece. A dramatic and notable way for Claridge's to enter the 21st Century. Thierry Despont went on to create Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's, London's most glamorous restaurant.

With the beautifully restored bedrooms, including two spectacular Penthouse suites, state-of-the-art technology, luxurious health and fitness facilities, private function rooms and the Art-deco Claridges Bar - the hotel is now also attracting a trendy, younger generation to appreciate the impeccable service and elegant atmosphere.

Claridge's Bar is a chic mix of style and sophistication. The elegance of the hotel's art deco heritage combines effortlessly with the cool urbanity provided by top designer David Collins. The result is a refined yet relaxed bar that has proved a hit with celebrities and style-setters across London. Rare champagnes and a selection of fine wines are available by the glass and bottle. Traditional cocktails are served alongside new creations such as the Mayfair Classic. A delicious selection of light dishes and savouries provide tempting bar food. The excellent range of cigars make it the perfect place to relax for an after dinner brandy and a smoke. The Macanudo Fumoir: A richly sumptuous, moody, aubergine, leather-clad smoking room, The Macanudo Fumoir features an impressive selection of more than 20 different Cuban cigars and the largest selection of Macanudo cigars in the country.

Royal Suite: 170 square meters/1,830 square feet(approximately). A unique suite featuring a canopy bed and incredibly generous wardrobe space. The accommodation comprises a large entrance hall, with pillars and eighteenth century English furniture, leading into an elegant drawing-room with French windows overlooking Brook Street. Adjoining the drawing-room is a separate dining-room, which can seat 12 guests. A butler service is provided with the Royal Suite. Davies Penthouse: 220 square meters/2,368 square feet (approximately). The traditional style Davies Penthouse features magnificent pastel blue four-poster beds in each room. Each has a separate dressing-room and spacious bathroom with separate shower and extra deep bath. The sitting-room features a large original fireplace, marble fixtures, wooden floors and a barrel-vaulted ceiling studded with lights. French windows open onto a stunning roof terrace overlooking the rooftops of London. A personal butler service is provided with the penthouse. Brook Penthouse: 220 square meters/2,368 square feet (approximately). This stunning apartment has been restored in the Art Deco style with an elegant, gentle mauve decor, light oak floors and original fittings from the 1930s. The bedrooms are large and luxurious, each with their own dressing-rooms. The marble bathrooms are equally splendid with extra deep baths and separate showers. A beautiful sitting-room with full height windows looks out onto a stunning private roof terrace. In addition, there is an elegant dining-room with a cocktail bar and cloakroom. A personal butler service is provided with the penthouse.
Banquets & Meetings
Claridge's Ballroom has hosted many society weddings, balls and state banquets, and is an impressive venue for business conferences, launches, receptions and annual events. The Ballroom accommodates 400 for receptions or 240 for dining. Up to 800 guests can be accommodated when used in combination with the Mirror Room, French Salon and Drawing Room. The Ballroom has its own entrance, reception and cloakroom. Numerous other private venues for conferences, dinners, private parties, and meetings.

Lavishly redesigned by New York architect Thierry Despont, yet retaining its beautiful art deco features, Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's at once encapsulates exquisite cuisine and Claridge's commitment to excellence. Located on the ground floor, Claridge's Foyer and Reading Room define Claridge's as a luxury art deco jewel in London. The restoration of Claridge's Foyer has been undertaken by the internationally-acclaimed architect and designer, Thierry Despont. Crowning the Foyer from its 18 ft high ceiling is a magnificent Dale Chihuly silver-white light sculpture, assembled from more than 800 individually hand-blown glass pieces. The Foyer is perfect for light meals, afternoon tea and cocktails. Musical entertainment is played every day from 3pm to 9.30pm. The Reading Room is the preferred venue for intimate dining in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Here, enjoy the ceremony of taking Afternoon Tea, the most civilized part of the day. Claridge's offers a huge choice of over 30 different teas from all over the world. These are accompanied with a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, French pastries and freshly baked raisin and apple scones served with Claridge's own popular tea-infused jam and thick Devonshire, clotted cream.

    From Heathrow Airport- Leave The Airport onto the M4 in direction Central London. Follow the road through Chiswick and onto Brompton Road into Knightsbridge. Pass Harrods on your right and go up to Hyde Park Corner. Continue straight using the underpass into Piccadilly. Take the first turn after Green Park Station into Berkeley Street- which leads into Berkeley Square. Take the fourth exit into Davies Street. The Hotel is on your right after two blocks. Turn right into Brook Street for the main entrance.
