Cafe Royal Hotel
Combining architectural heritage with contemporary design, Café Royal has been reincarnated as a luxury hotel in the heart of London's West End with the elegance of Mayfair to the west and the creativity of Soho to the east. Grand historic areas of the hotel have been sensitively restored while 159 guestrooms and suites (including six historic suites) have been created in a modern yet refined style. All feature thoughtful touches; luxurious Frette bed linen, a fully stocked Butler's Pantry, Bang & Olufsen entertainment systems and media hubs. Each guest has access to a private butler and concierge service to take care of every detail. Continuing its celebrated legacy, as a place for excellent hospitality and dining, Café Royal continues to take guests on a culinary journey with a selection of six bars and restaurants. The hotel also boasts a fully dedicated meeting and events center, from the beautifully restored Pompadour Suite, rich with historical detail, to the cutting-edge boardroom – all boast natural daylight and are equipped with the latest technology. To complete the experience, the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre opened in summer 2013.

Cafe Royal hotel is ideally located on Regent Street, in the beating heart of the West End. To the west are the glamorous private members clubs, elegant boutiques and fine dining restaurants of Mayfair. To the east Soho’s lattice of alleys and streets define London’s nightlife with late night coffee shops and elusive cocktail bars while London’s world famous theatreland is just around the corner. Also on the doorstep are the famous shopping destinations; Bond Street, Mount Street, Jermyn Street and the tailors of Savile Row. Below Piccadilly Circus are the exclusive clubs and art galleries of historic St James’ with The Royal Academy, the British Museum, the ICA and the National Gallery all within walking distance. The hotel is also perfectly positioned for London’s iconic tourist landmarks, Westminster and Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, the Royal Opera House and London’s fine Royal Parks, Hyde Park and Regents Park.

Victoria, Paddington, Liverpool Street and Kings Cross train stations are all no more than 30 minutes away by car or London underground. The Eurostar at St Pancras allows access internationally as does the easy links to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Banquets & Meetings
The Pompadour Suite has been beautifully restored to feature original and ornate detailing, and perfect for celebratory receptions, launches, fashion shows, and weddings. The Louis XVI style room has a series of fluted Corinthian pilasters and mirrored panels with gilded frames, accented further by a rich decorative ceiling, elaborately depicting scenes of love. At the far end of the room, large double doors lead on to a pillared outdoor terrace with views on to Air Street and up and down the sweep of Regent Street. The terrace is equipped with patio heaters and can be dressed to include poser tables or additional seating.
The hotel offers three dedicated disabled guestrooms.
A dedicated meeting centre on the first floor of the hotel includes a range of specially tailored meeting and event spaces designed in fumed Oak panelling to elegantly conceal the most up-to-date technology. Spaces range from 32 to 160sqm with capacities from 14 – 200. Entrance to the meeting centre is via a welcome reception and rooms are orientated around a separate lounge foyer at the centre. All meetings and events at Café Royal hotel are managed and organised by a highly professional team who are happy to advise on all aspects of creating a memorable and distinguished event.

Continuing its celebrated legacy, Cafe Royal continues to takes guests on a culinary journey. At the heart of the hotel, the Ten Room offers British informal all-day dining while absinthe is revived in The Bar in homage to Oscar Wilde (famed patron). Originally established in 1865, the legendary Grill Room is the jewel of Café Royal hotel. Restored to its original Louis XVI decor, it is now the place to enjoy cocktails, Champagne and a light menu. Fronting Regent Street, The Cafe celebrates the European tradition of cafe culture.
