Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments
Melvin S., Norfolk, England. January, 2007
"As usual the hotel was good value for money the service was extremely warm the staff very helpful and attentive. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless. The restaurant dinning room was intimate and the food exceptional. Highly recommended."
Suzanne T., Wokingham, Berks, England. January, 2007
"We had a junior suite which was very spacious. Although very beautiful, it was probably a little wasted on us as we were only there one night and didn't spend that much time there. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was fabulous! The furniture and setting is just divine! Lovely seating and setting. All very different from the normal chain hotels. We would very much recommend this hotel for a romantic or girlie weekend."
Amar, New York. August, 2006
"Very enjoyable and lived up to my expectations for a luxury hotel. Room was nice with good location and staff is attentive."
Rensje, Cape Town, South Africa. August, 2006
"It was a friendly relaxed, quietly luxurious experience, with fabulous staff, great location and a memorable experience. Would love to return for any London visit. Wonderful doorman. Loved the location, the service and the room."
A.J., Switzerland. August, 2006
"Exceptional, although rates became very high after secondary goods. We were upgraded to an appartment, I liked the bar area and the spa."
Anne L., Stansted, Essex, United Kingdom. August, 2006
"The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, the staff made you feel very special. Jim, the doorman, was the crowning glory, a wonderful, friendly man. The location was perfect, nothing is very far away, the tube station is just across the road, perfect. The rooms are lovely, a little updating would be nice, I think this may be next on the list as all the foyer and restaurant has just been redecorated, it is stunning. A perfect oasis away from reality. The best part was the fact that is not such a big hotel, so you get personal, special service. Everyone remembers your name."
Roy, Houston, TX. May, 2006
"Great location, great room - best hotel staff I've experienced in 50 years."
