The Inn at Dos Brisas is an idyllic getaway situated among the rolling meadows of central Texas Hill Country, within a short drive from Houston or Austin. What began as a ranch retreat has evolved into a Relais & Chateaux luxury inn, brimming with character and charm afforded by this sumptuous yet rustic locale. Since 2004, the 313-acre resort has offered all the features for either an action-packed outdoor vacation or a quiet escape, complete with private accommodations and a patio for taking in the panoramic views. Each of the 9 Spanish-style Haciendas and Casitas provides an unforgettable experience during your stay.The renowned restaurant and wine cellar present the only Forbes five-star dining experience in the state, featuring produce fresh from the extensive organic gardens and greenhouse.
The Inn at Dos Brisas is also home to the second largest privately owned indoor riding arena in Texas, with a variety of equestrian activities to please novices and full-fledged cowboys alike. The history of Dos Brisas is steeped in hospitality. Throughout the centuries, these grounds have hosted Union soldier prisoners, cotton farmers, horse trainers, and cattlemen.

The Inn is located 6.5 miles north of historic Chappell Hill, Texas, off Hwy 290, approximately one hour from Houston and two hours from Austin. In addition to Bush International Airport and Hobby International Airport - which are 90 minutes away - Brenham Municipal Airport accommodates private jets of any size just 8 miles from our front gates.

From Houston: Take 290 west toward Brenham, Texas. Turn right at FM 1155, which is the first traffic light you'll come to. This will take you through Chappell Hill. From the beginning gardener to the sagest of green thumbs, guests of The Inn are welcome to visit the certified organic farm for informal lessons on how to start your own garden, varietal selections, organic pest control, and more. Picking and tasting produce is encouraged, and gardening gloves are provided.

Two fully stocked ponds await you on The Inn’s grounds. Fishing lessons are easily arranged, with equipment provided.
Golfing
Guests of The Inn enjoy golf privileges at several nearby prestigious country clubs that are not open to the public. Transportation is provided.
Horseback Riding
The show barn and arenas at The Inn at Dos Brisas are one of the largest equestrian facilities in Texas. Inside the stables await a dozen of gentle horses for trail rides and lessons.
Hunting
The hotel can arrange a guided hunting excursion at several nearby locations. As hunting is a seasonal activity, game will vary. Transporation is provided.
Jogging Running
The roads around the property serve as ideal training routes for long-distance riders.
Winery Tours
Hosted by The Inn’s sommelier, wine tasting classes offer sampling and discussion of wines from around the world. Guests will learn how wine is made, why certain wines pair well with certain foods, and enjoy select wine flights paired with cheese and chocolate.
