One&Only Hayman Island, opening in July 2014 and located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, presents astonishing natural beauty, restorative peace, indulgence and adventure. Located in the heart of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, One&Only Hayman Island is the northernmost of the Whitsunday Islands off the coast of Queensland. Within this private island resort, stylish elegance reflects the harmony of nature with beautifully appointed accommodation set against the backdrop of the Coral Sea. Accommodations are located in four distinct areas of the resort, each different in style and ambiance, and each designed to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the island and its natural surroundings. One&Only has reduced the room inventory from 210 to 160, arranged into Beach, Pool and Hayman wings, with almost half now configured as suites, villas or penthouses. One&Only Spa is a blissful sanctuary – expertly designed to relax, re-balance and restore the mind, body and spirit. Choose from an extensive menu of traditional and up-to-the-minute treatments and treatment environments inspired by the local surroundings. Contemporary and state-of-the-art fitness options are also featured. Restaurants and bars have rare character, with imaginative cuisines and fantastic vintages from the region and around the world. World-class chefs create the perfect ambiance with mouth-watering flavors, from modern Asian and authentic Italian to contemporary Australian cuisine, guests can experience a variety of flavors offered at the resort’s restaurants – and can enjoy both pool-side and beach-side dining. Experience a range of private dining experiences. Shimmering pools set the stage for an intimate "Under the Stars Dining". Cabanas nestled within lush tropical gardens, or surrounded by white sands overlooking the Coral Sea, offer an idyllic ambiance for a secluded gourmet picnic on the beach. Food aficionados and aspiring chefs will delight in The Chef’s Table, the resort’s signature gourmet experience.
