Directions to Hotel
By car: Attention : the area where Palazzo Vecchietti is located is a traffic limited zone, but you can easily reach us and let us know the licence plate number of your car on arrival. From the A1 Motorway Milano – Napoli you need to exit at “Firenze Certosa” follow the signposts that indicate the road to the centre until you get to Porta Romana. After following Via Romana, follow Via Maggio, cross the Santa Trinità bridge (Ponte Santa Trinità) and take Via Tornabuoni. At this point follow the road until you get to Palazzo Antinori and turn right into Via Degli Agli and then take the second street on the right, Via de’ Vecchietti. After about 200 metres you will find Palazzo Vecchietti, Via degli Strozzi 4 on your left. The hotel has an agreement with a local garage that offers valet parking.By Train: if you wish to walk instead of taking a taxi, it takes just 10 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station. On exiting the station, cross over to the side of the square where you will find the apse of the marvellous church that gives its name to the station, take Via Panzani and go straight on for about 500 metres, turn right into Via de’Vecchietti. Go straight on until the junction with Via degli Strozzi after approximately 200 metres on the left. At number 4 Via degli Strozzi you will find Palazzo Vecchietti.By Plane: Palazzo Vecchietti can organise, on request, private transfers for its guests. Alternatively you can take a taxi or any public transport that arrives at Santa Maria Novella station and then follow the relevant directions.

Michelangelo Room: This deluxe room dedicated to the multitalented Tuscan artist in some way reminds us of his works in the scale of the space, from the high ceilings (40 m²) to the wide windows that open out on to Via Strozzi. The room consists of one open space providing combined living and sleeping areas in a subtle lavender colour. Twin beds or a double bed, built in wardrobe and an impressive decorative marble fireplace.
