How to come from Highway A1 (from Rome or from Milan) and from Siena: Coming from the Highway A1 from Rome/Milan or from Motorway S2 from Siena exit at Firenze Impruneta and follow directions for “Firenze Centro” taking via Senese. You will pass through a town called Galluzzo and after driving along a street with many petrol stations on its left hand, you will arrive at a little village. At the trafc lights, you will have to turn right in Via del Gelsomino. You will drive along Via del Gelsomino and at the second trafc lights you will turn left onto Via del Poggio Imperiale which descends downhill until Porta Romana. Taking a right through Porta Romana continue all the way along Via Romana in the direction of Via Maggio until you arrive at the bridge of Ponte Santa Trinita. Before the bridge, turn left in Lungarno Guicciardini and then cross the frst bridge on your right Ponte alla Carraia. Once on the other side of the river in Piazza Goldoni, don’t keep driving along the river but go left in Borgognissanti and then take the frst right in Via del Porcellana. At the of Via del Porcellana, turn right in Via della Scala and after a few meters you will fnd Santa Maria Novella square on your left. J.K. Place is on the right hand side of the square at number 7.
