Summer Lodge is able to cater for parties of between 2 and 60 guests and is ideally suited to exclusive use.
The hotel is licensed for wedding ceremonies to be held in The Dorchester Suite and Drawing Room and a
Wedding Breakfast can be served in the elegant restaurant.

gone by with a much deserved stop off in the local pub; The Acorn Inn which is featured in Thomas Hardy's
famous novel, Tess of the d'Urbervilles as "The Sow and Acorn". There are many boutiques and antique shops.

Room One, the Master Bedroom, was originally designed by Thomas Hardy himself and offers a magnificent
open fireplace and four poster bed which overlooks the perfectly manicured English country gardens that
frame the house beautifully. Suites: From a glass conservatory with private walled garden in the Coach House
to the quaintness of a 2 bedroomed duplex in the 400 year-old Summer Lane Cottages, there is a wide variety
of suite accommodation at Summer Lodge.
The Summer Lane Suites are ideal for families since they can
interlead into an adjacent superior room.
Ivy Cottage - This cottage is perfect for newlyweds looking for the
peace and tranquility they deserve yet completely pampered by the hotel's style and service as and when
needed. A romantic four poster bed awaits and as well as this you may wish to sit by the open fire in the
downstairs lounge area. The really special treat here has to be the hot tub in the cottage's own private garden space.
