Chateau De Gilly

Nestled amidst moats and French-style gardens, Chateau de Gilly is a luxury hotel set in the former residence of Cisterian Monks. Located two minutes from the village of Vougeot in the heart of the "Grand Cru" wine region, the castle hotel features authentic 14th and 16th century character.

Providing six different categories of rooms, the property's 48 guest rooms and suites are located in the Chateau or in one of the two adjoining lodges from the same era. Accommodations feature traditional furnishings with flat-screen TVs, minibars, and safes. The Junior Suites are located in the former residence of the Father Abbots from the Cîteaux Abbey, and feature unique details such as wood panelling and a Burgundy stone fireplace.

The Chateau's Clos Prieur restaurant is nestled within a rib-vaulted room that was once the cellar for the Cistercian monks of Gilly. Specializing in fine French cuisine, the restaurant has an extensive wine list, as well as an outdoor terrace for dining amidst flowers and aromatic herbs during the summer months.
