Born in 1891 as a gambling casino and transformed into a "grand resort" in 1918, the "Five-Star, Five-Diamond" Broadmoor continues to shine brightly as one of the world's premier resorts. Known as the "grande dame of the Rockies," The Broadmoor has been the vacation destination of hundreds of presidents, statesmen, foreign potentates and celebrities, in addition to many entertainment and sports celebrities. It has been providing visitors with the perfect spot to work, relax, or enjoy a myriad of recreational possibilities for over 80 years.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - The Broadmoor
Edward C., Centennial, CO. January, 2007
"The Broadmoor is legendary; very little needs to be added to the accolades it has justly received over the many years. It is both regal and comfortable. It is however definitely feeling some its natural age. Many of the hallways for rooms in both guest facilites need desperate carpet/paint/wallpaper repair and replacement. The service throughout the hotel is quite long on friendliness and great decorum, but rather weak on knowledge of the hotel, where to find things, and the more popular dinner options have a clear lack of managerial guidance. The 'Tavern' was an extreme disappointmentment; 20 years beyond needing remodeling, a very lazy moribund menu, embarassingly untutored staff and waitpeople. To top it off, the 5,000 bottle wine list certainyl must be along way from this Tavern, as the wines availbale by the glass were inferior to a corner coffee bistro in Wyoming- yet most of the 10-12 options averaged $9-14 per glass! This is the fatal critique for a wonderful old damme from a bygone era- patrons."
Debbie D., Denver, CO. December, 2006
"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Broadmoor. We had never stayed at this hotel but had heard a lot about it. It did not disappoint. The experience was great from start to finish. Our room was spacious, service at the hotel and the restaurants was great. EVERYONE we came into contact with had a smile on their face and was friendly. We will come again."
John M., Atlanta, GA. December, 2006
"My room was huge, although it needed a little bit of an updating, and my view was slightly obstructed, but the room service was great and the front desk was very very nice."
Vicke, Colorado Springs, CO. January, 2006
"We had a wonderful stay a great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Room was beautiful and very elegant, restaurant and bars were outstanding, food was wonderful service was excellent."
Sondra, Washington, D.C.. January, 2006
"Exceptional service, cheery staff even though it was Christmas Day. No one minded being there, interested in you as a person, but not intrusive. Family oriented even for grandchildren who were very much at home there. Many interesting things in the hotel historically to read, learn. Great food and service in restaurants. Hotel room was fabulous, view OK, outside area was incredible, grandchildren loved the bridge, the swans, the playground, the gingerbread house display with the train running through it, all the fireplaces, escalators, lunch in the 'Tavern' and enough space where they could run (they are 3 and 4). Wonderful experience, and will go back and we'll use you to make reservations. Price was definitely right. "
