"The room was graciously appointed, with a wonderful bathroom. The hotel location is superb ... a short shuttle ride to the waterfront, yet secluded enough to be relaxing and romantic. Plenty of restaurants and bars along trendy Kloof St. The view of Table Mountain is exceptional. Highly recommend for the discerning guest."

"The whole experience at the Mount Nelson was excellent. The hotel is in an ideal location and offers everything we wanted - and more! The rooms are in very good condition, and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. Breakfast is a feast! A good selection of restaurants are nearby. If we were to criticize anything, it would be the rather slow snack service in the lounge. On our very last night we had to leave our snack as it took too long to arrive, but this seems trivial compared to the excellence of everything else."

Directions From Cape Town International Airport: Head In The Direction Of The N2 Highway Towards The City Of Cape Town. Continue Along The N2 Highway Past All The Off Ramps Until The M3 Merges. Keep Far Left And Proceed Along De Waal Drive Along The Foot Of Table Mountain. As You Pass Under An Overhead Walkway, Slow Down And Turn Left On Mill Street. Continue Along Mill Street Which Changes Into Orange Street, Passing Through Two Sets Of Traffic Lights. Before The Pedestrian Traffic Light, You Will See On Your Left Hand Side, The Prince Of Wales Pillars Which Signify The Entrance To Mount Nelson Hotel.
