This is Boston: a wonderful assortment of contrasts that goes well beyond past and present living elbow to elbow. It’s the high-end boutiques straddling Newbury Street and the peanut-strewn concourses at Fenway. The penguin habitat at the New England Aquarium and Swan Boat rides in Boston Public Garden. The beauty of the Charles River Esplanade and the charming grittiness of the MBTA trolley cars trundling up Comm. Ave.
