Since Georgian times this impressive house has been the setting for centuries of hospitality, country pursuits, fine living and relaxation. And today the country house hotel and sporting estate guarantees a warm welcome, a calm space and a wide choice of sports, leisure and fine dining. All housed in a magnificent historic setting.

Hotel guests and members of Stapleford Park are invited to enjoy all the comfort and luxury of this historic country house, as well as the exceptional golf course and luxury spa. Our 18 hole championship course, home of the PGA’s newest tournament The Handa Senior Masters is a constant challenge to golfers, and the Clarins gold spa, housed in the magnificent stables, offers a comprehensive range of fitness programmes and pampering treatments – perfect for weekend breaks.

The hotel offers a wide variety of country pursuits and leisure activities including shooting, riding and falconry. And after a day in the fresh country air, our house guests and members always look forward to a delicious, freshly prepared evening meal in one of our dining rooms and a night cap in the library. Our luxurious bedrooms, all individually designed, guarantee a good night’s sleep in style.

Directions to Hotel
By Air: Stapleford is located within easy reach of several international and regional airports. East Midlands International Airport is only forty five minutes away by car. The International Airport at Birmingham is about an hour and half away, Luton an hour and a half and Heathrow, Stansted and Manchester International Airports are all approximately two hours by road. All the airports have excellent rail links to the convenient stations at Grantham and Melton Mowbray. Chauffeur driven transport can be arranged for you and we are happy to accommodate chauffeurs by prior arrangement.

By Rail: Intercity trains from London Kings Cross leave almost every hour and the journey takes just over one hour to reach Grantham. Collection from Grantham Station directly to the hotel can be arranged. Rail links from other departure points can be provided on request. To make your journey as easy as possible we can arrange chauffeur cars which are available on request at a small charge. Catch a train from either St Pancras or Kings Cross, change at Peterborough or Leicester and arrive at one of our local stations, Melton Mowbray or Oakham, just 5 miles from Stapleford Park.

The Gardens at Stapleford reflect the many qualities one would expect of England's finest gardens. Wayne Whitting, Stapleford's Head Gardener, takes great pride in presenting and maintaining Stapleford's exceptionally beautiful gardens.
