In the corner of the street Roger de Lluria with the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, stands one of the most majestic and emblematic buildings of the city, which now is home to El Palace Barcelona, formerly the Ritz Barcelona. Since its construction in 1919, by Catalan political initiative Francesc Cambo and the Swiss hotelier Cesar Ritz, this establishment has been able to fascinate guests and visitors. El Palace Barcelona has been totally refurbished and was re-opened in late 2009 as a grand luxury hotel.

Set in the heart of the city center, close to Las Ramblas and in the most prestigious shopping area, it is surrounded by boulevards, boutiques, and main attractions.

El Palace Hotel Barcelona has 125 rooms fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology. They are all decorated with the elegant, renowned style of classic luxury with a hint of the original 1920's decor.

The Caelis Restaurant, awarded with a Michelin Star is part of El Palace, with a full offer of top-class cuisine. Clients can also enjoy our 19/NINETEEN Restaurant located at the Hall of the hotel and the emblematic cocktail bar Rien de Rien.

El Palace has launched the Mayan Luxury Spa and Fitness Room, a unique spa with a Temazcal Sauna, exclusive in Europe .
