In the few years since the hotel opened, the luxurious riverside Peninsula Bangkok has quickly established itself as one of Bangkok's finest hotels, winning many awards and accolades, including "World's Best Hotel" in 2003 by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine. Thanks to its unique waved-shape design and location on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, The Peninsula Bangkok is a stunning, 39-storey hotel offering uninterrupted panoramic views of Bangkok from every one of its large, luxurious guest rooms and suites.

The Peninsula Bangkok is within easy access of the business and shopping districts of Bangkok and is close to several of the city's numerous attractions. Adjacent to the Saphan Taksin Station of the Bangkok Sky Train (BTS), The Peninsula Bangkok is also just 35 minutes from Don Muang International Airport. Among the largest in Bangkok, each one of the guest rooms features pioneering technology, allowing hotel guests to control their environment with the touch of a fingertip.

The hotel's elegant and chic dining options include contemporary Pacific Rim cuisine at the stylish Jesters restaurants, authentic Cantonese cuisine at Mei Jiang, extensive International buffet at River Cafe & Terrace and home-style Thai dining by the river at Thiptara. With unrivaled hotel facilities, The Peninsula Bangkok features a magnificent, three-tiered swimming pool, a Fitness Center with gymnasium, sauna, and steam rooms as well as a Beauty Salon offering a range of massage treatments. Hotel guests of The Peninsula Bangkok also have special access to the exclusive Thai Country Club golf course. The Peninsula Bangkok blends traditional Thai hospitality with a fresh yet timeless elegance - and, of course, the legendary Peninsula service.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - The Peninsula Bangkok
Lorraine B., Bangkok, Thailand. June, 2007
"The efficiency and privacy of our check-in was truly luxurious in itself. The suite was delightful- everything electronic at the touch of a button. The rooms were pristine and seductively comfortable. Service was subtle and efficient. All of the restaurants (with the exception of Jaspers) had exquisite selections of food, each with a unique ambience. The one disappointment was the dinner provided as part of the package at Jaspers Restaurant. While we expected a set menu, we thought there would at least be choices. For the first course there was no choice- calamari steaks (which were tough); the second course was crocodile or fish- which is a poor selection after a fish first course. We chose the crocodile which was so tough we couldn't get it off the bone. For dessert there was no choice, just mango dessert. Since neither of us like mango, the dinner was a disaster. The maitre'd took us to the buffet for a complimentary dessert and coffee, but it was a definite disappointment. We'd never go to the restaurant again. We would consider staying in the Peninsula Bangkok again, but would not take a dinner option package because of our very disappointing experience."

"From the moment of arrival, the staff could not do enough to help us. The Restaurants and facilities were fantastic as was our room. We had great views over Bangkok, the river and the grounds of the Hotel. Although our room was on the 26th floor the lift was very extremely fast and effective. All in all we would definitely go to the Pennisula if visiting Bangkok again"
Mark L., Toronto Canada. January, 2007
"One of the best hotel stays of my life. The Peninsula personifies excellence in service, luxury and ambience. From the lobby to the rooms to the facilities every step was a pleasure. The sincere staff really made the difference. "

"Hotel was great , staff very friendly , rooms and bathrooms in specific were luxurious, view was amazing The thing I loved the most is the room, everything was with a remote control, curtain, you can sit in bed and have a total control right through the phone set, bathrooms were spacious and had a TV set too, all lights had touch buttons which was nice. View was amazing too."
