The Giardino Hotel is located in the middle of the residential area of Ascona, in the perfectly quiet parklike landscape, just next door to Hole 3 of the Golf Course, one of the ten most beautiful in Europe. A modern pleasure harbor is situated 300 metres from the Hotel. The Golf-Clubhouse and Ascona's traffic free "Piazza" are reached in a few minutes by Giardino's own bikes or by the free shuttle bus.

With its pleasant temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, this pool enables you to comfortably swim your lengths or alternatively enjoy the sunshine and some relaxation. For a safe splash, a separate pool is available for our tiny guests! The Garden, in Italian "giardino", is the centre and the surroundings at the same time: the garden grows into the Hotel and the Hotel grows out into the garden. The dreamlike mediterranean grounds are characterized by waterlilies, plants, sculptures, bridges and trees... the garden of Aprodite at Lago Maggiore!

The decoration of the rooms differs pleasantly from the usual hotel standard by being furnished in a Mediterranean style. It was Carlo Rampazzi, Ascona's internationally renowned designer, who has completed the Hotel's incomparable interior architecture towards a synthesis of the arts. All rooms have a marble bathroom with two wash basins, a separate Closomat (Shower-WC) and bidet and most suites have two bathrooms.

In the nearby "Residenza Giardino" 5 flats are at the disposal for guests on a weekly rental basis. Besides the two golf courses in the surrounding area of Ascona - Golf Club Patriziale Ascona und Golf Gerre Losone - you will find 11 other golf courses in the region.
Fine Dining on Site
Experience and enjoy the entire variety of Giardino's culinary delights! Dine at the Ristorante Aphrodite in the evening or feast at the Osteria Amici. As a welcome alternative you may also taste delicacies served at noon at the Ristorante Aphrodite or at the Pool Cafe, with a seductive Antipasti buffet and a rich selection of seasonal summer specialities.

    Arriving by train or by airplane - Transfers from the airports Lugano/Agno (45 min.), Milano/Malpensa (1 h 30 min), Milano/Linate (1 h 30 min), Bergamo (2 h) or from Locarno/Magadino helicopter airport. Transfers from the airports by helicopter upon request. Free transfer to and from Locarno railway station.

    Aarriving by car - Exit at Bellinzona Sud - take main road direction Locarno/Ascona, follow signs for Ascona - turnoff Ascona mainstream road (via Locarno)to the pedestrian area - Left to the next crossroads (Via B.Papio) - Right until the next roundabout (Via Circonvallazione) - Turnoff direction "Porto" (Via Muraccio) - and then follow the "Albergo Giardino" (Via Segnale 10) sign posts.

    Giardino mobil! If you are arriving by rail, plane or helicopter, you may have a Smart car completely at your disposal with advantageous conditions.
