Traveling with the kids to London? You won't want to miss this. The Rubens at the Palace-- a comfortable four-star hotel located opposite Buckingham Palace-- is converting one of its conference suites to a Summer Kiddies Cinema this August. There will be two free screenings of family favorite films every day. So turn off the lights, grab some popcorn, and get ready for Shrek, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and more! Each young guest will get complimentary juice and popcorn, and either a bag of sweets or a popsicle for the movie. For meals, the Cavalry Bar offers a Princes and Princesses menu with classics like macaroni and cheese, ham and cheese toasties, and mini fish and chips.
During your stay, the hotel's Director of Fun and Adventure will ensure that your kid gets a fun guided tour of the hotel, and a visit to the pastry kitchen where children can ice and decorate their very own cupcake. To prep for a long day of sightseeing, the Director of Fun and Adventure provides each young guest with a personal rucksack and packed lunch.
Families staying at the Rubens at the Palace can also take advantage of the ‘Kids Go Free’ offer, which allows children under 12 years of age to share the room with their parents for free. Family rooms are available from £287 including VAT, per room per night.
