Slated for the summer, Coworth Park will be a country house hotel and equestrian center on 200 acres of Surrey parkland near Ascot-- just 40 minutes from central London. Polo fields, archery, pitch-and-put golf, an eco-luxury spa... But most exciting of all: Coworth Park will be one of the most environmentally-friendly properties in the UK, utilizing zero-carbon technologies. Rainwater and surface water will be recycled, and a kitchen garden will provide organic veggies for the table. The goal is to embrace all the latest, cutting-edge technology to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by at least 50 percent. The other addition to the Dorchester portfolio will be in London. Long vacant, 45 Park Lane will be getting a makeover from its er- unseemly former life as the London Playboy Club. The construction project requires major modifications incorporating eco-friendly technology.
