Following the success of The Hangover (the movie raked in US$450 million at the box office!), fans will be lining up to see the sequel. (The Hangover Part II is set for a worldwide release date of May 26.) And this time, the boys wake up... in Bangkok. Fun fact: A lot of the film footage takes place at a very cool hotel called lebua, an all-suite luxury hotel with 360-degree views over the city. (Located on floors 51- 59, the Tower Club at lebua offers all kinds of sexy privileges: Bvlgari bath amenities, nespresso machines, complimentary Internet...) lebua is also home to the renowned Sky Bar and Sirocco, the world’s highest open air rooftop restaurant perched on the 63rd floor. For the movie, the hotel was turned into a live film set and many of the staff had roles as extras!
After you check out the new flick, you may find yourself wanting to get a piece of the action in Bangkok. Jet to Thailand and check into lebua, where a special two-night Hangover Part II package gives you an opportunity to party like the guys in the movie, while staying in The Hangover Suite, a three-bedroom suite which can accommodate six people and offers a fully stocked mini bar to get the party started. Priced at USD $2,200. While staying at lebua Hotel, head to the bar and order up the Hangovertini, a specially designed cocktail made with green tea liquor, Martini Rosso, green apple juice, and rosemary infused honey.
