Truffle Hunting, Wine Tasting, and Cooking Classes in Provence with Hotel Crillon le Brave
September 13, 2010By: Mary Winston Nicklin
Culinary enthusiasts, what could be better than cooking classes in Provence? Explore the countryside, sniffing out culinary delights by truffle hunting, tasting wines at local vineyards, and visiting village markets for seasonal produce. Then head back to the kitchen for hands-on demos with a talented chef. The chic Hotel Crillon le Brave is offering an all-inclusive cooking program package for two weeks in October which combines culture and the best Provençal cuisine. Each program has a maximum of 8 participants and you'll cook in pairs, preparing all dishes in a complete menu every day, under the guidance of the hotel's chef and his sous chef. The package includes luxurious accommodations for six nights, excursions in the countryside, and all meals and wine, including dinners at well-known local restos. The cost is 2900 euros per person in double occupancy. (Want to bring a kitchen-averse friend? Pay 1400 euros for a non-cooking companion who can share in all the events and meals outside of the cooking classes.) The program dates are Sunday, October 10– Saturday, October 16; Sunday, October 17- Saturday, October 23, 2010. Related Hotels
