Out With the Old, In With the New: Jumby Bay’s Grand Reopening

July 21, 2009| By:Alison Victor

Jumby Bay A Rosewood ResortAfter being voted World's Best Carribean Resort by readers of Travel + Leisure in 2007, Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort closed its doors in June of last year, on a high note, to begin renovations on the luxurious 300 acre property. Eager travelers can now breathe a sigh of relief as the long anticipated reopening is scheduled to take place November 1st. With over $28 million spent to renovate and redesign the Jumby Bay Resort, guests can look forward to a number of great new changes.

The first ever spa, Sense, will welcome guests to signature treatments performed before breathtaking ocean views. Using natural ingredients, and with five treatment rooms available, this spa promises to be a wonderful addition to the tranquil surroundings. Along with Sense, guests can also look forward to two new culinary experiences, the casual and healthy Pool Grille, and the open-air, elegant Verandah Restaurant.

Perhaps the most exciting news is the complete redesign of the guest rooms. The resort has also added 28 new, luxurious suites, each complete with spectacular views. With all-inclusive rates starting at $1,150 per night, Jumby Bay is only a few months away from beginning a new chapter of refined history.
