I've been thinking about when I moved into my current apartment. Not only did they give me a great deal, but they threw in free monthly parking too. I was thrilled, yet couldn't help but feel like I was cheating someone, somehow. I still constantly look for these type of "gratuitous offerings." I'll share with you one way to feed this need:Five Star Alliance works directly with its luxury hotels to not only give the most competitive rates, but also an incentive to book. If you've narrowed your travel down to a particular place, I would recommend taking a look at the different hotels listed to see which are giving special offers to people booking on the Five Star Alliance site. An example of one such hotel is the Hotel President Wilson, in Geneva, Switzerland. The definition of classic luxury, Hotel President Wilson will give you a complimentary gift of (Swiss) chocolates, and also, based upon availability, a possible room upgrade at check-in. What's that, you say? Yes, it feels a little bit like cheating, but just take a deep breath and smile!
