Set along miles of white sand beaches, The Westin Puntacana is located within the Puntacana Resort & Club with championship golf courses, full-service marina, and scuba diving. Guests of the resort have access to shuttle service throughout the 15-acre property, as well as the Corales Golf Course, La Cana Golf Course, and Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center. Shopping is available in the Puntacana Village area of the resort complex, as is the Six Senses Spa.

As part of the resort, guests at the Westin Puntacana have access to Eco Tourism experiences including Segway Eco Tours that begin in the Tropical Fruit Tree Garden and end with a swim in the freshwater lagoon, Yauya. There's also guided ecological tours to a traditional Dominican Ranch and Petting Zoo to explore a sugar cane exhibit, learn about the Iguana Conservation Program, beekeeping projects, and innovative worm compost initiatives. There's also horseback trail rides amidst Punta Cana's forests and beaches.

Within The Westin Puntacana there are three restaurants, including Anani with a relaxed atmosphere and international menu. For beachside dining, Brassa Grill & Bar serves steaks and traditional American fare. There's also the open-air Don Queco Cigar & Rum Bar with ocean  breezes, and specialty cigars and rums from the Dominican Republic.

For recreation, there's a large main pool with lounge areas, beaches, and water sports such as kayaking, windsurfing, and catamaran sailing. Guests can partake in a variety of daily activities, including tennis at the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center, and young visitors can participate in children's programs.
