Vietnam is the newest locale to head to for a spa getaway, thanks to Amanoi's two new Spa Houses. The new meditative outpost marks the first amenity of its kind for the Aman brand. The unveiling of the Spa Houses comes as part of the recent launch of Aman Wellness, which also introduced Group Wellness Retreats and Individual Immersion across the collection during 2016.
The two spa houses neighbor the 118,000-square-foot spa which overlooks a lotus-flower lake surrounded by hills, located in Núi Chúa National Park. Thuy Lien Spa House, which translates to Lotus Spa House, features views of the lake while An Son Spa House, meaning Peaceful Mountain Spa House, offers views of the national park. Each Spa House includes a spacious double treatment room, Jacuzzi and steam room, complemented by an ice-fountain and a cold plunge pool. Outdoors, guests will find an infinity pool and relaxation deck, in addition to either a hammam or banya to complete the spa's thermal facilities. The houses can accommodate between two and four guests in the pavilion’s fully appointed bedroom and living room areas, providing guests with the option to reside at the spa overnight for a fully immersive experience. The spa’s menus include a variety of techniques and treatment options, like Watsu, Reiki, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, reflexology and Chi Nei Tsang, plus two additional Bodywork and Energywork categories of treatments. The additional categories feature options like yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, pranayama breathing, meditation and more. Bodywork focuses on more holistic practices while Energywork focuses primarily on fitness, offering classes in kickboxing, TRX suspension training, circuit training, bootcamp classes, stretching and core sessions.
Coinciding with the launch of the Spa Houses, Amanoi has also introduced three new Individual Wellness Immersions which are available on site and all year round. The immersions include The Eastern Approaches to Weight Management; Movement, Mindfulness & Stress Control; and Longevity, Rejuvenation & Detoxification. The programs last between three to 10 days and aim to guide participants onto a new path, whether that be to lose unwanted weight, renew focus and reduce stress or start a new health plan for the future.
For those who don't want to stay in the spa, Amano'i hosts guests in 12 Guest Pavilions, 16 villas and five residences in addition to its two new Spa Houses.
