QUESTION: We are in need of an ADA room for our family in Venice, what can you recommend?
ANSWER: The Westin Europa and Regina
Situated on the final stretch of Venice's Grand Canal where it broadens to become the Bacino di San Marco, The Westin Europa and Regina, Venice occupies a position of absolute privilege, offering views which inspired the impressionist painter Claude Monet, and facing the beautiful Italian Baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute. St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, the La Fenice Opera House, and Calle XXII Marzo, Venice's prestigious shopping area, are all steps away. Composed of five 18th and 19th century historic palaces, the oldest of which belonged to the Tiepolos, the illustrious Venetian family that gave the city two "Doges" and the 17th century painter Giambattista Tiepolo, The Westin Europa and Regina, Venice today offers guests a sophisticated combination of characteristic elegance and modern technology.
The public areas of the hotel embrace guests in a distinguished, welcoming atmosphere that is attentive to every necessity; here you'll find marble and mosaic flooring taken from the original design of the Scuola di San Rocco, walls partially covered in sensual tones of marble, characteristic Venetian decorations and furnishings, and the splendid hand-made Murano glass chandeliers.
Guestroom decors vary from characteristic Venetian style lacquered furniture in yellow, green or pink pastel colours, to a refreshing modern decor in light blues, creams, greys and oranges. All guestrooms offer Westin's famous Heavenly Bed; Wi-Fi is available on some guestroom floors and non-smoking rooms can be requested.
For Your Needs, We Recommend:
