Did You Know? Omni Royal Orleans

Inside the luxury hotel that is now Omni Royal Orleans is the historic Rib Room. The steak-heavy restaurant, unusual in a town known for Po'Boys and seafood, has served dinner to a galaxy of stars, including  Luciano Pavarotti, Muhamad Ali, The Rolling Stones, Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, Charlton Heston, Louis Armstrong, Richard Nixon, Paul Newman, and Harry Connick, Jr. But that's not the hotel's only claim to fame. The ideas for the Superdome and the Louisiana Jazz Festival were developed in one of Rib Room's private dining areas. 

The culinary team at the Rib Room strives to incorporate unique and locally sourced ingredients wherever and whenever possible.
