Hotel Vitale opened its doors on the revitalized Embarcadero Waterfront on March 9, 2005. This new landmark building was designed by Heller Manus Architects. The modern interior design created by San Francisco's McCartan Design, uniquely encompasses luxury touches while featuring soothing natural elements. Here at this urban oasis, guests will experience a revitalizing stay provided through the hotel's stunning water and landmark vistas, on-site spa with outdoor rooftop deep soaking tubs, penthouse level yoga studio with terrace and signature restaurant, Americano. Vitality: "abundant physical and mental energy usually combined with a wholehearted and joyous approach to situations and activities." That definition of vitality is a perfect way to describe the experience we want to create for you here at the Hotel Vitale. Modern, urbane, fresh, revitalizing, and nurturing—these are all words that could describe the hotel and its services, but they also describe the experience our guests are looking for. Hotel Vitale embodies the "good life" of the San Francisco Bay Area and our offering of unique services and amenities will help give you fast peace for your fast pace traveling lifestyle. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, the Hotel Vitale is a nesting sanctuary where you can marvel at the view, enjoy San Francisco's most vibrant new neighborhood, and be treated with service that is thoroughly professional yet friendly and free of attitude or formality. If there's one word that describes our philosophy of service it's "authentic."

"The Hotel Vitale is exactly what we expected, contemporary, simple, very nice. Our room's view was not great, but the room was very nice. The lobby bar is very nice, a lot of people."
Duriez, St Germain en Laye, France. July, 2008
"The experience was great. Room has good sight seeing, comfort is perfect, and we got all we expected. Excellent service at the restaurant too - even if the happy hour event make it a bit noisy!"
Michelle, New Zealand. August, 2006
"We loved our stay in Hotel Vitale, due to great room, friendly service and good location. We particularly liked attention to detail such as returning to your room to find soothing music on the CD and water bottles by the bed. A lovely room in a great location."
