Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - The Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel
Guest. January, 2007
"Interestingly, my complaint has to do with the overly eager staff, which is normally a good thing. However, within the first half hour after checking in I was twice interrupted by staff coming to the door to welcome me and make me aware of amenities which I could easily have discovered in the materials in the room. Similarly, the next morning (Sunday), I was again twice interrupted in the morning by overly attentive staff. In each instance, I was forced to place the privacy sign on my door to avert any additional interruptions. In retrospect, I should have done this immediately upon entering the room."
Robert B., Dallas, TX. January, 2007
"The Carlyle was very nice. We had a suite reserved, but on the night we arrived, all the suites were booked, so they upgraded us to the Presidential Suite for the weekend. We had a stunning view of Central Park from our living room, with Grand Piano and fireplace. The bed was wonderful and although an older hotel, the Carlyle had an ambience and pride about it. Very nice. Service was wonderful and my lady friend was impressed. "
John B., Park Ridge, NJ. January, 2007
"The hotel was excellent. Everything from the service of the staff to the quality of the room. "
Kurt L., Zurich, Switzerland. September, 2006
"Simply what one expects from a great hotel: professional and quality infrastructure and service, and notably a wonderful concierge service."
Peter, New York City, NY. August, 2006
"Very pleased with the room and the service. I loved the room and the hotel itself."
