"Critically the hotel has that essential element of having so much more character than the large chain hotels. Room was good and spacious. Location is fantastic for getting out into shops, restaurants etc. The bar in the foyer is a great meeting place. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Recommended."

"We stayed at this hotel for three days in August of 2008 and would recommend it to anyone. It is closeby all the stores and a walking distance to the Vieux Montreal (about 15 minutes walk). The breakfast can be expensive so I would recommend walking to a nearby bakery/cafe (the concierge knows plenty of them) but the room was large enough to accommodate a rollaway bed for my teenage son without feeling crammed into a sardine box. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice. Clean rooms!"

"We had 3 rooms - for our adult children and granddaughter and ourselves. Beautiful accommodations and amenities. We had connecting rooms and one next door.
Very helpful concierge, location excellent, breakfast and waiter delightful.

"Although my stay was very short, the only food stuffs I ate on site were the Lindt chocolate, which were excellent. My room was upgraded, it was outstanding. The amenities, the lighting on dimmers, flat screen TVs. The bed was fresh and firm, the bedding crisp. Expectations are exceeded not only met. This was my second experience and I am a loyal client."

"Hotel experience was great from beginning to end. We were assisted by three staff members before we even made it to the front desk. Fantastic! Very attentive. We were escorted up to our room and the bellhop ensured the room was to our liking before leaving us to the luxurious surroundings. The queen canopied bed was piled high with fluffy white pillows and an inviting down duvet. The bathroom was a dream of marble, glass, and even a flat-screen TV. We slept in peace after a delicious Jacuzzi bath and woke up to enjoy the included breakfast of the flakiest croissants, french-press coffee and freshly squeezed juice. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The room was beautiful and the service exceptional! It was a great welcome after a long drive. Everybody we met in the hotel was friendly and very courteous. It was a real bonus with the continental room service breakfast ... and we really thought the 'care package' in our car brought by the valet service was a nice touch. "From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we checked out the staff, service, and everything about the place was superb. We have traveled to Montreal on a couple occasions and nowhere has the service been what is was at the Loews Vogue. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, service was prompt and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I wouldn't think twice about staying here anytime I am in Montreal!!! In fact we are planning to return in April and stay at the Loews again!!!!"

"Exceptional service in all aspects from curbside reception, front desk check-in, use of English and French with ease and humor, concierge service, excellent bar. Did not dine at the hotel, but it looked fabulous. The location was excellent. This was a very high class hotel in all aspects. I would frequent a Loew's hotel whenever possible including Philadelphia where I travel often.
