The newly launched Le Place d'Armes Hotel and Suites, one of Montreal's most distinguished addresses for unparalleled hospitality, is an unequivocal living monument to Montreal's rich heritage. Comprised of the award-winning former Hotel Place d'Armes- Old Montreal's first boutique hotel, which opened in 2000- and two adjacent historic buildings, Le Place d'Armes's expansion represents a $21 million investment in regional tourism. A melange of three stunning 19th century heritage buildings, Le Place d'Armes embraces the spirit of the city's historic past and serves as a time capsule of Montreal lore. The exterior of these structures are a magnificent fusion of architecture spanning three different centuries, while the interior gives way to a seamless integration of contemporary decor and design elements. The sophisticated boutique hotel has extensive conference and meeting space, banquet facilities and a 2,000 square foot, full service spa with Montreal's first Hammam. This elegant boutique hotel is both contemporary and warm, with high-end services and amenities to pamper every guest. Each aspect of Le Place d'Armes has been uniquely designed for maximum guest enjoyment, from the furniture, to the lamps, to the extraordinarily spacious bathrooms- a signature amenity of the hotel. Upscale materials and fabrics such as marble, slate, leather and rich woods are used carefully in the decor. Le Place d'Armes features 83 rooms and 52 suites, including six balcony studios with private terrace and five large penthouses. Luxurious options include jetted or therepeutic baths, exposed brick walls, electric fireplaces and city views. Standard room amenities include goose down comforters and pillows, soft terry cloth Frette bathrobes, and the latest technology.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - Le Place d'Armes Hotel and Suites
Kevin W., Toronto, ON, Canada. July, 2008
"The hotel makes an good impression with the modern lobby and friendly staff. We enjoyed the wine and cheese event in the main restaurant as well as the excellent continental buffet the following morning. The room was very large and we felt we could easily spend 3-4 days there without being cramped. Our only complaint is that being on the 5th floor we were relatively close to the rooftop terrace. There was a private function on the terrace that was quite loud and kept us up until past 2 am."
Leslie W., Princeton, NJ, USA. July, 2008
"The hotel was lovely. Staff was helpful and polite, service was very good. Prices were reasonable, and mine included breakfast and a wine and cheese reception. Definitely consider the Place d'Armes for your stay in Montreal."
P.T., Alexandria, VA. August, 2006
"Better than expected, great room, location and service! One of my favorite aspects was the continental breakfast which we opted to have served in our room for a small charge. It was wonderful!"
