Oustau De Baumaniere — Marseille, France
Oustau De Baumaniere
Marseille, France
Under the centenary stones of what was no doubt the cellar of the old 16th century house: the dining room. In the warm, intimate light diffused by the arches, everyone gets ready to experience and share a great moment of pleasure. The bedrooms and aprtments are divided into three living spaces. The Mas, the Manor, the Guigou: each with its own distinctive soul and powers of seduction...To the chaos of rock and scrubland of the Baussenque countryside, the Oustau opposes the harmony and softness of its gardens. When crossing the Vallon de la Fontaine, from the restaurant terrace or by the bedroom window, the guest will be suprised by the changing hues of the Baumaniere gardens. If he can only keep one memorey, he will certainly remeber the freshes and most marvellous: thatof a thousand white roses, shining in the sun, in their green foliage casket.
