The Oasis restaurant is a twenty minute drive to the breathtaking view overlooking the Hill Country and Lake Travis. You also must experience Hamilton Pool, one of the many natural spring fed swimming holes known to Austin. This one is a longer drive, but worth it to swim uner the 60 foot waterfall. Barton Springs Pool is a close alternative, if a drive isn't in your plans. Don't forget to see the largest bat population in North America depart from the Congress Avenue Bridge at sunset. It's truly a sight to see. Make sure to check with the guest relations team for viewing season.
