Continental Express flies into Saranac Lake several times a day from Boston. If you make prior arrangements with the hotel, they will meet you at the Saranac Airport and drive you to The Point, only 20 minutes away, or you can rent a car from Hertz at the airport. They also recommend a local charter service - Adirondack Flying Service, based in Lake Placid, New York. Another popular means of getting to The Point is to fly with a major carrier (Delta, USAir, Continental, United, Northwest) to Burlington, Vermont, or Albany, New York, and rent a car for a lovely two-and-a-half to three-hour drive to The Point.
