Bajacu ("rising sun" in native Carib) is an ultra-deluxe villa located on the island of Provo, in the Turks & Caicos. It is situated on a south shore hilltop with a breathtaking 270-degree view of the sea, surrounded by an 13-acre estate of lush tropical gardens with coconut, royal palm, fruit trees, bougainvillea, jasmine, & frangipani. A natural stone path provides direct access from the villa to the sea. Designed by world-renowned Mexican architect, Marco Aldaco, villa Bajacu comprises 9500 sq.' under the roof & 3500 sq.' of open deck. The villa has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (3 with king beds & 2 with double beds), each with ensuite bath & private terrace with stunning sea views. A delightful & exotic open-air living room lies under the shade of a large palapa, with a spectacular pergola linking the palapa to an inside living room, all of which are surrounded by the beckoning pools. Antiques from China, Indonesia & Africa, together with unique artwork, create an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. Among Bajacu's many pleasures are the beautiful private areas for relaxing in total privacy - the villa includes a formal indoor dining room seating 16, together with a protected & tranquil outdoor dining area. Two dramatic infinity pools cascade into each other - 1 of these is 170' long and appears to melt into the Caribbean horizon (both pools can be heated for a surcharge). Bajacu also features an office with computer, internet access, & fax (both the living room & the office have their own bathrooms for a total of 7 bathrooms). The villa is attended to by a butler, cook, gardener & 1-3 maids (depending on size of party) - 2 of the staff members live on-site in separate staff quarters. In addition to the snorkeling area below the villa, there's a nearby marina for guests desiring to rent a boat. Bajacu is an 8-minute drive to fabulous Grace Bay Beach (one of the longest unbroken stretches of sandy beach in the Caribbean) - championship golf, boutiques, resort amenities & ferries are all a convenient 10-minute drive from the villa. Bajacu has its own fresh water-making plant and guests can enjoy the fresh fruit & herbs harvested on the estate. NOTE: 4 spa treatments are offered as part of Bajacu's rental rates.
