Given Butler's lofty elevation on the windward slope of Mt Nevis, the house benefits from cooling Atlantic breezes, aided by ceiling fans throughout. Whether exploring ruins, relaxing in the gardens, swimming in the pool, or picking mangoes, the choices are many at Butler's House (although you may have to compete with Vervet monkeys to reach the fruit first!)
