Villa Solage is situated about 4 minutes by taxi from the town of Anacapri and about is about 12 minutes by taxi from the main Piazzetta of Capri. The property is spacious and has two entries - one for pedestrians, and one for cars or taxis. The grounds and gardens are abundant with a delightful variety of flowering plants - from brilliant bougainvilleas of every color and hue, white iceberg roses, silvery olive trees, vibrant red hibiscus, cypress and palm trees - all set upon a carpet of rich green Gramena grass. To the front of the house, you will find a lovely wrought iron table and chairs beneath a gazebo. Inside, the living room features a 26 inch TV with satellite, a stereo, and comfortable sofas set before a marble fireplace. The kitchen opens out to the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a five burner gas stove, an oven, and a side by side refrigerator/freezer. The button for the main gate opening system is located in the kitchen as well. On the ground level, there are 2 bedrooms, each with it's own entrance and exit onto the terrace where you will enjoy the panoramic sea views. The first bedroom has a bathroom with a shower, decorated with pretty Capri ceramics. The second bedroom is small, and has a bed for 2 people. It is near to a large, white tiled bathroom with a hydro-massage bathtub and a large shower. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms. To the left of the stairs is a small bathroom with a shower. Each of the bedrooms has a pretty bathroom with shower, and a private door out to the large terrace with exhilarating views of the sea and Ischia and Procida islands on the horizon. There is also a single bedroom upstairs, which also has its own doorway out to the terrace and views. The pool (14 x 6 meters) is situated in a large grassy terrace (48 x 20 meters) surrounded by colorful bougainvillea bushes and a wonderful sea view - especially at sunset! Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.
