"Very large room with all necessary amenities, comfortable. Feels good in such a room. Hotel is very well situated close to Santa Monica Beach as well to shopping and walking centers. Good, friendly service and nice restaurant, although we had only breakfast there. Nice gym albeit rather limited equipment, will highly recommend to friends and business associates!"

"We had a late check in (10pm)- we asked where the restaurant was, and the guy on reception told us 'they don't really have a restaurant' - we found out the next day they have a great restaurant, it was just closed when we checked in. We ordered room service... it was inedible, old slimy spinach and tuna salad, that I'm sure was great when it was prepared at a guess 12 hours earlier. The rooms are very old, run down and dated. It was like a pattern explosion... wall paper, bed ruffle, cover, carpet, lamp, curtains, window decals (I know... I didn't think they made those anymore!) all heavily patterned (but not in a good way)- and all different.. mmm fancy. This was very disappointing, small and musty. The location is great, right on the beach, and very close to shopping. We only stayed one night as a last minute, we would not stay again."
