Location Summary
Whare Kea Lodge is located on 70 acres of private farmland, on the western shore of Lake Wanaka.

Directions to Hotel
If driving into Wanaka via State Highway 8 follow the main road into the township, you are on Ardmore Street. Continue through the township proceeding along the lakefront (the lake should be on your right hand side). Continue straight ahead you will pass a sign on your left for the Mt Aspiring National Park, Treble Cone and Glendhu Bay. You are now on Mt Aspiring Road.

If you are travelling via the Crown Range / Cardrona Valley Road highway 89, proceed to the lakefront. Turn left to follow the sign indicating Mt Aspiring National Park. You are now on Mt Aspiring Road.

Mt Aspiring Road will take you through an avenue of tall trees, you will then go up a rise, continue on past the Top 10 Holiday Park. Proceed on this road past the Rippon Vineyard sign, and past Barn Pinch Farm (we are 2km from Rippon Vineyard). Continue until you reach, on your right hand side, a stone walled entranceway with our Whare Kea Lodge sign attached. Turn into the tree lined driveway. Please note there may be livestock grazing. You will find the Lodge located at the end of the private driveway.
